Covellite has an almost metallic appearance until you hold it and it is much lighter than it appears. It has a very beautiful navy blue/purple sheen/iridescence which makes it very attractive. This stone is excellent for working with the third eye and developing your intuition.
This mineral is particularly useful as the copper relaxes the stomach and so automatically stills the mind,allowing deeper investigation of higher planes of existence and consciousness.
