Cinnabar is a form of mercury sulphide which comes in deep red to orange colour and exhibits a trigonal structure. This is another dynamic crystal which brings drive and force to the user and also assists in the flow of ideas. Unfortunately, due to the nature of its mercury content it is not an easy stone to work with. Handling this stone must be done very carefully and you must wash your hands after use. If you really must use this crystal then take care and always wash your hands. THIS STONE IS NOT SAFE TO USE AS AN ELIXIR. There are many stones and crystals that have similar properties, that can be substituted in its place.
