Crystals Explained - E/F


Emerald Emerald is a form of beryl that forms in striking greens varying from pale to vibrant deeps. This crystal exhibits a hexagonal structure and has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. Emerald is a truly magnificent stone as anyone who has worn one will tell you. Emerald helps the user feel fantastic, loved and powerful. Emerald offers the user a path of joy through love and asks the user to be kinder and gives the user the strength to be kinder and genuinely loving even in difficult times. Emerald eases the chest and lungs and connects our senses to the beauty of the world around us. Emerald gently surrounds us with the true strength of love and beauty. Eudialyte Eudialyte forms in crystals that range from red to orange to pink. This crystal exhibits a trigonal structure and has a hardness of 5 to 6 on the mohs hardness scale. Eudialyte is an energising stone which works on the sun centres, namely the solar plexus, sacral and root. This stone energises these chakras and helps the user feel more present in the world and brings a desire to be more active. Epidote Epidote forms crystals that range in colour from yellow to green. These crystals exhibit a monoclinic structure and have a hardness of 6 on the Mohs hardness scale. Epidote is a great stonefor humanity as it clears the solar plexus and heart chakras. When energy flows clearly to and from the solar and heart chakras we start to take our personal power and channel that through love. When the human race as a mass begins to realise its great power and ability to manifest its reality around itself and starts to live and think through love then we will start to see a new world begin to appear around us. Epidote calls to our inner knowing and asks us to take responsibilities for both our actions, thoughts, emotions and dreams. Epidote enhances our feelings of self esteem in a loving way. When we look around us and see that we have proved that we can build a world around us, then we can begin to realise that now is the time to start building the world that our hearts are asking us to create. Epidote replaces fear with love and then asks us to go out and create a beautiful new world.



Fuschite

Fuschite is a form of green muscovite mica which is often found in Brasil. These crystals exhibit a monoclinic structure and have a hardness of 2.5.

Fushite is a very happy stone which promotes an innocence and gives a range of joyful perspectives with which to view a situation or person.


Fulgurite

Fulgurite is formed when lightning strikes silica rich sands and then forms hollow tubes. The composition is based upon the mineral contentof the sands which have been energised by the lightning.

These tubes are often called prayer pipes and it has been said that they are very good for making intentions and prayers heard and also to facilitate clair-audience.


Fire Agate

Fire Agate is a particular form of agate that has a rainbow of colours that are visible beneath the transparent surface. These colours are due to the presence of Goetite or Limonite which produce this iridescence.

Fire agate has majical properties which take the supportive nature of the agate and add the energy of spontaneity, beauty and freedom. This stone asks us to get involved in the joy of life.


Fire Opal

Fire Opal is a form opal which exhibits an iridescence due to the play of light upon its surface. It has a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5.

Fire Opal has a happy, spontaneous energy which excites and uplifts the user. This is a great stone to use in jewellery. Opal are mood enhancers so it is good to wear them when you are in a good mood and to leave them alone or choose another stone when you feel a little grumpy.


Fluorite

Fluorite is a beautiful crystal that forms in a range of colours including multicoloured specimens, which can include orange, blue, purple, clear and green. These crystal exhibit an isometric structure and have a hardness of 4.

Fluorite is an excellent cleansing stone which can be used on all chakras. These crystals have a cooling and calming energy that leave the user feeling incredibly refreshed.

Fuorite can also be used in office and home situations to create a more ordered environment. This multi functioning stone is very useful and versatile.

When working with, wearing and storing it is useful to note that it is a relatively soft stone and needs care in storage and whilst wearing it.
