These are natural iridescent opalised ammonites from Tulear, Madagascar.
Ammonite were once sea creatures from the jurassic and cretaceous periods. They related to the modern day squid and octopus. The soft parts would have decomposed leaving behind the shell which is what we see fossilised today.
