Warnings – instructions for use
Provide a fireproof bowl or abalone shell. Light the end of the bundle and blow it for a while so that the flame goes out and the bundle continues to smoulder.
If the smudge is firmly bundled, blow extra to keep the herbs smouldering well. With this smouldering bundle, perform the smudging ceremony or session. Make sure the fireproof bowl is kept under the smudge bundle at all times.
After the end of the session or ceremony, you can extinguish the bundle again in a bowl of sand (check carefully that it has actually gone out) and keep the bundle for another use.
