Tekkite
These rocks are a natural glass that was formed from the impact of a meteor melting the local rock and producing a variety of glass, which has no crystalline structure due to the speed at which it formed. The actual composition of these glasses depends on the location in which they were found. As a result, many of these tekkites have names and properties specific to a region. Moldovaite, for example, is probably one of the most famous of these tekkites. See Moldavite for more information.
Many of the tekkites on the market have no specific name and fall under the name takkite. These glasses have interesting qualities.
